Healthy Eating for Healthy Beauty

Many of the products we put into our bodies look dangerously unhealthy. Yet, if you are to look at a list of items that are considered “Beauty Foods”, you will notice that though they may look unhealthy they are actually the opposite. A delicious looking Greek yogurt with all sorts of fruits happens to be considered a beauty food. Greek yogurt, which is considered bacteria, does more good than harm. Normally, when you hear the word “bacteria” you think of something harmful to the body, but in fact yogurt is a good-bacterium for the stomach, and for the skin. Not only that, it taste very delicious!

Now, we have discussed a beautiful food that promotes beauty; let us look at a food, in this case a vegetable that promotes beauty and health: pickled vegetables. I know, I know…. The smell of pickled vegetables is either alluring or vomit-inducing to some people, but the health benefits cannot be ignored. We have all seen sauerkraut, or at least that is the assumption I am taking here. This food is good for beauty because it has lots of vitamin C and K which is useful preventing bone loss. If your bones are staying strong, then odds are your skin is sitting well-attached to your face and body. But, still, the way sauerkraut looks; it is not very appealing in looks. And most people prefer to eat their sauerkraut with hotdogs, which are rich in carcinogens. Here is a little known fact about sauerkraut: it reduces the amount of carcinogens in our body; thus, we can eat hotdogs and sauerkraut and consider it a healthy food for beauty.
